Fast water removal from all types of surfaces

Built on the hovercraft principle, the Hover dry machine supports itself on a cushion of air so that the machine does not come into contact with the surface. The sports model is ideal for use on grass surfaces, where it comes and goes without leaving a trace. Far from flattening the grass, it leaves it free from water and upstanding.

Hoverdry works equally well on any flat surface. Its performance has proved to be excellent on hard tennis courts and other artificial playing surfaces. It is also ideal for removing water from ice rinks. The Sports model with wheels fitted is highly effective for clearing water from concrete floors etc.

Although the Hoverdry is not designed to clear gravel, mud or larger bits of debris, it can handle ordinary debris likely to be found on grass playing surfaces, such as grass cuttings and small leaves

The Hoverdry's fan drives air down to form a cushion. This cushion of air picks up the water and disperses it as a fine mist outward to the edge of the fan, and it is drawn up the narrow annular slot onto deflectors.   From there, the water droplets fall into the reservoir, while the air continues to circulate through the fan
Hoverdry's powerful pump, which runs all the time that the machine is working, exhausts to a fitting on the outer hull. A hose is attached to this fitting to take the water clear of the area being dried.   Water can be removed at a rate up to 73 gallons per minute.
The body of the machine is made of a tough, lightweight fibreglass composite. There are very few moving parts and the machine is light and easy to handle. A transporter trolley is available.
