Two - Three Times Yearly
The surface should be cleaned with a power brush. This de-compacts the surface fibres & the sand infill. At this stage the infill should be inspected for contamination & removed & replaced with new infill as necessary (a magnifying glass is useful here).
Great care should be exercised when using powered machinery as severe damage to the carpet can be caused especially when dry (again check with a magnifying glass).
The infill should then be worked back into the carpet using a combination of a heavy brush & a Cleansweep.
Once this operation has been completed the entire area should be treated with a proprietary moss & algae control.
