Soft Rubber Play Area
Soft play areas constructed
of rubber granule are subject to the same
problems surrounding all outdoor surfaces, but
can if given the correct treatment give many
years of service.
One
particular problem seems to be discolouration of
the surface when installed under a cover due, it
appears, to the lack of UV light. Quite what
occurs is not clear but the end results are
quite alarming for the client. However Sweepfast
can clean off and treat the surface to
successfully expose the virgin colour
underneath.
Here the area is
contaminated with debris but has also gradually changed colour
after installation
After a first pass the
difference is quite dramatic
After several passes with an
aggressive machine to grind off the surface, it is washed down
and finally brushed clean
